I thought the film was an inspiration for anyone who has ever been in love and horny for the first time. Jack and Rose were studs. Think about it: it's 1912. They're sailing across the Atlantic, on a ship, in the middle of the ocean and they STILL have the need for a car to have sex in. AND THEY FIND ONE! What romance! It brings a lump to my pants, er, throat!

Titanic is one of the best movies based on something that has happened in the past. It just goes to sow accidents can happen any time any where. and the whole "love story" with jack and rose. was to spice it up. because people wouldnt watch like a 2 hour film with nothing realy happening. unless you were that bored. but overall. Titanic pretty much changed the way boats were made i rekon.

@jayslowiak you may not like Titanic 1997 because of the over dramatized romance, but the latest Titanic movie was near 100% accurate and was 100% boring. History and drama can't always go two and two.

lol it's all good, it was a movie I really don't care..It wasn't a bad movie but the titanic is loosing it's appeal for discussion. Watching stewie on steroids is more fun at the moment :)

I rather like the ghostly james cameron documentary footage on here, now that is some eerie stuff..I've spent the last two days watching titanic documentaries because of this damn sidebar :).. The museum tour of the titanic in chicago was even more eerie, actually seeing all that stuff they brought up like the big hull piece

The boats were made of the most solid wood of the time and would have held 44 people without sinking...Read the history, all those people didn't have to die, thats why they have a crew with protocol for evacuating all people not just rich people
