I wonder if in 100 or 150 years (if things are too fucked up and the specie stills here) if people would look us (with all the tech we are so proud of) the way we look at teh Wright Brothers.. the more I think about it the probable it seems... we live in an age of wonders and we take it for granted...

Lmfao it seems like you are the one who doesn't know how to write using proper English. It is sad to see a person like you, a lonely loser. Your entire comment is grammatically incorrect, you have no punctuations, no periods nothing. If I were you I would kill myself. You are a pathetic loser who never went to school and probably never seen a post secondary institution. I feel sorry for you living in your parent's basement. What is wrong? did your daddy gave you his dick to suck too many times?

custardaghost - 5.5.2012 0:15:57
BTW, you really ought to get your magical Dr Mom to teach you how to write and correctly spell English. In the big world outside of the Bronze-Age-cult bubble you've been brainwashed into, such basic knowledge and aptitude is rather necessary. Even if you are intending to be a Preacher of some sort, you'll still need to be able to write out your mea culpa when caught with your hand in the till/choirboy's pants/hooker lube.

You're a teenage product of The Kitchen Table School of Calculated Ignorance. You attack tone but can't debate. Ken Ham textbooks do not make your mentally misfortunate family "Men of Science." Yes, I have BSc and MSc from accredited universities in London; yes I did have foster parents: mine died, you callous little cretin. You think I deserved it, don't you? I learnt to think for myself: you're in a bubble of insanity. Your Sky-daddy cries when you wank, you know. Doggy! Oh you MAN!

afg96 - 30.4.2012 10:37:02
Did your parents ever thought you any manners? Or where you raised as a bastard child alone and given to a foster family? All I can read is swear words which shows that you never went to school let a lone have a degree of some sort I feel sorry for you, you pathetic loser all you do is go on YouTube all say long and look at peoples' comments. I'm a man of science and so is my family, I have more knowledge than you can ever acquire in your life. You are just uneducated I feel sorry for you doggy

You stupid child - writing complete bollocks that would be funny if it wasn't so tragic. The history and reality of science is all lies, according to your precious belief. As you ignore every scientific fact that shows the God stuff is bullshit. So: listing scientists' names without a clue as to what they did doesn't make you look smart, you god-addled hypocritical fuckwit. And who gives a toss re your family? One day your mind will cave in under the impossible dilemma you present it with.

Yuri Alekseyevich was a brave, intelligent and accomplished man who served his air force, his space program, and his country. Re the latter: so many whiny little spoilt ignorant kids are here who like to scream over anyone serving for the USSR - they clearly have not the first idea what the fascists did to the USSR nor that the Allied victory in WW2 took a fuck of a lot more to secure than what went down in June 1944. So we salute Yuri Gargarin - and me, I wish I had known him...

some really good stuff here

afg96 - 14.1.2012 14:14:46
I'm a man of science and religion! My mom is a doctor and many of my relatives come from scientific background! Science itself isn't a fact! It is a philosophy like religion did you know that? And by the way Science was created by Muslim specially Astronomy, Algebra, Chemistry, and Medical Science. Also Issic Newton believed in God and so did Albert Einstein Planck Leonardo Da Vinci too. There is only ONE God! Not gods! Theories don't have evidence either that is why they r theory

leptismagna10 - 14.1.2012 12:02:12
whether or not Yuri Gagarin had faith in gods is of no interest to anyone, least of all scientists and astronomers. What is interesting is what he FOUND up there, and he found NO EVIDENCE for gods. You can have all the faith in the world in your god, but without any evidence, your faith means absolutely nothing.

leptismagna10 - 14.1.2012 11:57:12
so what do you think changed Yuri's opinion? I don't think he witnessed anything supernatural, or found any proof for gods. Only the natural universe is up there, no invisible magic men, and if you have faith, well sorry to break it to you but faith is NOT a scientific fact. You can have faith in just about anything, faith is cheap. His religious "opinion" is probably a story invented by the Russian Orthodox Church, which is more corrupt and full of lies than the Communists!

afg96 - 13.1.2012 23:19:44
I'm sorry but your intellect is similar to a toddler! I never said that Yuri talked to God! I only said what was a fact writing in many independent articles. I live in Russia! People there believe that something changed Yuri's opinion on life! He never spoke of it, but just said one simple thing "There is God up there" If you go to early archives you might find this out. I believe the National Library of Congress in Washington DC should have some old documents in there!

EdwardTheTechGeek - 7.1.2012 4:14:47
Long live Yuri Gagarin!

leptismagna10 - 6.1.2012 11:15:29
haha, i don't think so. The god was not up there i'm afraid, and he did not talk to yuri. don't make stuff up.

I honor what you did, Yuri. If i had a glass of vodka with me right here, I would drink it in honor to you. But right now I simply have these words to say. :) Thank you! Happy New Year, Yuri Gagarin!

BusinessKi11ER - 24.12.2011 13:57:25
USA wasn't the first to the moon, nutjobs. Russia was, USA sent the first MAN to the moon!

afg96 - 8.12.2011 6:22:59
After Yuri Gagarin came back to Soviet Russia, he started express his religious views more openly, and said that there must be God, so the KGB and the atheistic communist government had conspired to kill him. His airplane crash that caused him to die was not an ordinary crash. Ask any Russian now and they will tell you! I used to live in Russia. Yuri Gagarin was the world's best aircraft pilot, the accident report just doesn't add up. Rest in Peace Youri Gagarin.

manuls24 - 2.12.2011 17:38:27
