Everybody says how beautiful Elizabeth Taylor is and she is but I've never watched one of her movies before and I'm just struck by how good her acting is. She's brilliant! What a subtle and believable performance.

Hmmmm I hate agree but van Johnson sucked as an actor.... And his being labled a commie didn't do his career in, it was the rumors of his being gay in a homophobic Hollywood at the time!
