Anybody notice the stunt double at 05:00? Believe it or not, most, if not all stunts were NOT performed by the Stooges. They were too valuable to chance getting hurt and stopping production. Curley was in a lifetime of pain after shoting himself in the ankle (as a child) w/a .22 rifle and never went to have it checked. Also, a lot of people went to the movies just to watch the Stooge shorts before the main movie and left after the Stooge shorts. Pissed off a LOT of Hollywood egos.

@tyedyed etc. Curley was a brother, not a "cousin". He was the youngest of the five boys of Jennie and Solomon Horwitz. Research before posting such a horribly written comment. Your spelling, lack of caps and grammer suck. Judging by your name, you have used too many drugs and have long ago lost it. Also, the original Stooges never made movies. The movies in later years (w/o Curley) nobody counts anyway...Stooges in Orbit; Stooges Meet Hercules, etc. were embarassments.

This is true. When Shemp was just learning to drive he accidentally drove his car through the front of a barbershop. The ordeal shook him up so bad that he never drove a car again in his lifetime. In a bit of irony, Shemp actually died in the back seat of a car from a heart attack.

a little known fact, Shemp was affraid of autos & he was the first of the original stooges. Curley is actually the cousin to Moe & Shemp. Curley also had a fear of the stage, so the whine that he does is a way of coping with the fear & the Nyuk Nyuk Nyuk he does.
