Uh the brother thing wasn't a twist at all. If you listen to the dialog they mention that they are brothers pretty early and it's given away in the trailers and posters. It wasn't a secret.

I havta admit,this is my second favorite mma movie (behind never back down 1) the slams have so much detail,i loved it,i reccomend this to any mma lover

Phenomenal film, abysmal "facts" being presented here. As others have pointed out, most MMA organizations have held one night or elimination tournaments at one point or another, suplexes do happen (twice in one fight just this past weekend at UFC Versus 6), powerbombs do occur (Rampage Jackson made a name off of performing them), Machida's crane kick against Randy Couture was, in fact, intentional, and so on and so forth. The film is worth seeing multiple times, this review is painful.

UFC 1-17 were one night tournaments. K1 does a one night kickboxing tournament. Bellator does tournament to determine the number 1 contender for all of their belts. Strikeforce is currently doing their first tournament (a heavyweight grand prix). Small organizations continue to do one night tournaments.
