What if...Disney Bought the Rights to DC/Warner Bros! This would happen

I'd really like to see you making the pictures, scanning'em then building and placing them into sequences. It'd be awesome to learn a few things from it. Amazing work. Full on respect. let me know how you made it all. Thanks.

that makes sense the robot design reminds me of one of the old 40s cartoons before he could fly.
robbpratt - 3.5.2012 10:50:43
The decision to have him fly was a conscience one. When I first started this project, I did consider calling it "Superman Retro", and he wouldn't fly in that version. After developing it, though, I decided that I'd rather go with "Superman Classic", and celebrate a Superman for the ages, and when people think of Superman, they think of him as a guy that can fly. I don't know if that gets me back my .5, but I hope that clears up what my thinking is on the "Superman Classic" concept!

if only he didn't fly then 10/10 so 9.5/10

Totally Great Job!!

This is what New Frontier should have looked like.

The only thing that really makes this animation horrible is the fact that it's not a full length feature film. I would pay SO much to see this done full featured. This style is totally missing from today's movies.

Dear DC Nation,
PLEASE TAKE NOTE & make this into a series (or help Pratt produce more shorts). This is pure perfection and EXACTLY what everyone wants to see in Superman.
RoninReviews - 27.3.2012 18:55:26
short but frankly brilliant!

i know this is old now, but lets spread it more, so DC can see we want good ol american hand drawn style cartoons. Nothing against anime, but this retro style looks cool.
We're never going to get that Batman Supes TAS, JLU feel back so lets start something new.
I do like the new GL series, even though it is CGI, but im on the fence about the new Batman. And marvel on G4, WHY??
its time we get a great comic series like 90s Batman and XMen. 2 best things to happen to comics on other media EVER.

HOW LONG DID IT TAKE TO
1) Draw all the frames...NOT INCLUDING THE BACKGROUNDS
2) Color each frame
3) Sync voices
histhespian - 27.2.2012 3:03:42

YouTube blocks me from typing the website name, but look at the last credit on my short and you'll see it. It's basically ROBB PRATT dot com :)
OnlyTubenami - 26.2.2012 8:57:48
May i ask, what is the name of your website? Can't seem to find it.
robbpratt - 26.2.2012 8:27:00
That is a Wacom Cintiq - not sure about the price, but if you search the web, I'm sure it'd be easy to find out!
robbpratt - 26.2.2012 8:25:39
If you go to my website, there's a link to an online animation school that I highly recommend. It teaches animation as well as storyboarding. Could be a good start to see which skill you'd like to develop.
