Dude. Great list. I mean, GREAT list. But why don't you have Stanley Kubrick's The Killing on here? That heist laid the ground work for practically every heist movie ever made. Christopher Nolan paid tribute to it in The Dark Knight with the opening scene and it obviously is an inspiration for Tarintino. Plus it is SOOO ENTERTAINING!!!!!! One again great list. Godfather deserves number 1.

You excluded "Goodfellas"'s companion piece "Casino", and Scorsese's most recent crime-oriented drama "The Departed". Raoul Walsh (of which whom directed "White Heat") also directed "The Roaring Twenties" which significantly identified America's 'lost generation' which also stars James Cagney (and Humprey Bogart). I unfortunately haven't seen "City of God" which my 22-year old brother recommended (I'm actually 16).

Godfather would always be number 1. On my top 10 I would put Heat with Al Pacino for sure. That has the best gunfight ever.

1) It didnt lack real acting, why you probably thought it lacked real acting because the characters were surreal 2) you cant hate a movie because of a persons hairstyle 3)It was suppsoed to be comical not funny 3) The characters were as i said surreal not 2 dimensional 4) what was great about the dialogue was that it was so fresh and the dialogue was what made the movies so absolutely brilliant, dialogue played an extremely critical role and even their chat about hamburgersis interesting

Why I couldn't stand Pulp Fiction: 1) It lacked any real acting (actors looking and sounding cool is not acting) 2) John Travolta looked awful (the HAIR!) 3) It wasn't even funny 4) The characters were two dimensional 5) Everyone tallks about the great dialogue, but I don't get how it's anything special - they just chat about hamburgers and drugs, so what? 6) It has no heart or soul 7) I turned off after 45 minutes - it's too long for a story with no involving characters! :P
